Ron (Fuzzy) Fedosenko, Managing BrokerRon brings to our Cherish Team a wide variety of experiences. Raised and schooled in Sooke, he was involved right from the beginning in sports, starting out as the team Captain of one of the house teams in Milnes Landing High School. He also started out in the Navy Reserve and then the RCAF reserve joining the RCAF for 5 years, as a Radar Air technician. Returning to Sooke, he started up a Television Repair Service known as Sooke TV Repair and then obtained the Radio Shack Franchise for that area. In 1983 he sold his successful business to become a Real Estate Agent, earning a Platinum Award meaning you are in the top 5 % of your peers for a minimum of 10 years. He obtained his Broker’s License, eventually becoming a partner in the largest Real Estate Company on Vancouver Island with 9 offices. He retired in 1994 for a few years and found retirement too boring so he got back into the business as a Real Estate Agent. He was a very good pitcher in Soft ball, playing in a league that travelled the island and down to Olympia, Portland and Seattle. After retiring from playing he took the next step into Coaching. He was very successful at that as his teams won multi tournaments and league play. In 2002 he agreed to Coach Mom’s Café Women’s Fast Ball in Hyacinth Park in Victoria and they won the provincials, Western Canadians and then off to Melbourne Australia to win the Senior’s Worlds. The team returned to Victoria greeted by all the media and then were voted as Victoria’s Sports Team of the year in their category. In 2003 they were nominated again. Since he retired from Coaching, Marilyn Fleming approached him and asked for the second time if he would become her managing broker. Having years of business experience she felt he could do nothing but add to the already highly experienced team already in place. “Fuzzy“ as he is known by clients and friends alike, is also a member of the Masonic Order, Member of the Sooke Legion Branch 54 and sports chairman, Honorary Member of the Sooke Fire Department, past member of the Sooke Athletic Association & Sooke Community Association and a husband and grandfather. His experience at dealing with new buyers to retirees for the past 31 years as a very successful real estate salesman is a testament of hard work and a personality that enlightens them around him. Fuzzy's understanding of the needs & challenges of our customers is a welcome support to the goals of Cherish Living Group. |
